COMS is widely regarded as the premiere commercialization event focusing on micro and nano technologies. We offer an intimate environment of 400 - 500  people, all of whom are decision makers representing industry, academia, and government. The conference consists of approximately 100 talks given by leaders from around the globe. We are proud to be
the only truly international event enabling networking and deal making in this arena. In past years, COMS has visited Australia (2007), USA (2006), Germany (2005), Canada (2004), the Netherlands (2003) and the United Kingdom (2001). We are also excited to be adding Denmark to the list of COMS hosts with COMS2009 to be held in Copenhagen.

As with previous COMS, we will be including an exhibition of leading companies and institutes working in micro and nanotechnology. Over $2B USD in commercial deals have been made at COMS since its inception in 1994.

COMS2008 will host an exhibition with approximately 40 international companies. We work very hard to ensure that the exhibition is well attended with activities such as:

•        All coffee and networking breaks are held in the exhibit hall
•        A special vendors reception will be held in the exhibit hall for a cocktail networking event
•        Exhibitors will be given the opportunity to present a paper in one of the technical sessions
